"Miss Caroline" has been involved in the dance industry for over 35 years. Over the years she has studied Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hiphop and Musical Theatre. She was also a student member at Broadway Dance Center in NYC for many years where she studied under the late Frank Hatchett, Slam, Q, as well as Jeff Shade, and many other wonderful choreographers. She has choreographed for musicals arranged by the Liberty Partnership Coordinator at Binghamton High School. And in 2005, she created the Broome Community College Dance Club and choreographed for it regularly. Caroline has also been a continued member of NADAA (National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts, Inc.). In 2010, Caroline joined the local performing group, the Rock Bottom Players, as a featured dancer and choreographer. Also in 2010, she joined the American Association of Dance Instructors and was a Delegate for New York State for National Dance Week.
Candice grew up in Upstate New York where she danced for 16 years competitively. During her time dancing, she won 3 National Titles. She also taught ages 3-12 at her studio. After she graduated high school in 2020, she received her Bachelor's in exercise science and is also a personal trainer. She is now a physical therapy student at Binghamton University. Her main passions are Musical Theater, Jazz and Contemporary.
Miss Inaya has been dancing for 20 years. Over the years she has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hiphop. Inaya competed in several Regional and National competitions over the years where she was the recipient of many Top Ten and Special Awards. Inaya attended Penn State University from 2017-2019 before transferring to Binghamton University. Inaya has been a student of Miss Caroline's since age three, and an Instructor at Broome County Dance Center for several years.
Miss Kyra has been dancing since the age of three. She has studied Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hiphop. She is also a certified Yoga instructor, specializing in Vinyasa, Restorative and Chair Yoga. Miss Kyra is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with Concentrations in Performance and Education and Minors in Italian and Women & Gender Studies.
With her passion for dance and also working full-time at our beloved Binghamton University in the Center for Civic Engagement, we're so excited to have Miss Kyra as part of the Broome County Dance Center family and share her expertise!
Kristina has been dancing since the age of six. She has studied Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Acro, Contortion, Lyrical, Hiphop and Musical Theater. She has experience teaching ages 1.5 through adult. Throughout her years, she has participated in many regional and national competitions. She has won Choreography Awards as well as Top Score Awards. She has students who hold multiple titles at both regional and national levels. She has taught various workshops at a national level as well. Kristina adjudicates for many competitions and she is currently a judge for Journey Dance Competition.
